01 IMMEDIATE CARE
01
Immediate Aftercare
Keep the tattoo covered with regular foil for approximately 4 hours after the session. If Dermalize / second skin is used, I recommend keeping it on for approximately 4–24 hours, depending on how the tattoo reacts and how much fluid collects underneath.
03
First 3–4 Days
Wash the tattoo 3–4 times per day.
Apply tattoo cream approximately 6–8 times per day.
Always apply the cream in a very thin layer — the skin must be able to breathe.
Do not apply a thick layer of cream. Too much cream can keep the tattoo overly moist and slow down the healing process.
02
First Night Care
After removing the covering, wash the tattoo gently with lukewarm water and mild antibacterial soap. Pat it dry with a clean paper towel and apply a very thin layer of tattoo cream. For the first night only, you may cover the tattoo again with fresh clean foil.
04
Peeling and Healing
Wash the tattoo 2–3 times per day.
Apply a thin layer of cream around 5 times per day.
Continue this routine for approximately 10–14 days.
Light peeling and itching are normal. Do not scratch, pick, or remove peeling skin.
Keep the tattoo, clothing, bedding, towels, and anything that touches the area as clean as possible.
Immediate Care
Immediately after your session, keep the area cool and dry. Avoid touching the tattoo with unclean hands to prevent infection.
Hygiene Protocol
Keep the area clean and dry. Avoid soaking in water, swimming, or using harsh soaps. If the skin starts to peel, do not pull it.
HEALING PHASE PROTOCOL
SUN EXPOSURE
Direct sunlight can cause hyperpigmentation and premature fading. We recommend using a high-SPF sunscreen or covering the tattoo with a clean, breathable bandage.
SWIMMING
Chlorine and saltwater are highly corrosive. They can strip away the protective barrier and lead to infection. Avoid swimming for the first 2 weeks after your session.
GYM & PHYSICAL ACTIVITY
Physical activity increases blood flow and sweat production. This can compromise the healing process. We recommend avoiding intense exercise for the first 48 hours.
HEALTHY HYGIENE
Always maintain clean hands and a sterile environment. Avoid touching the tattoo with unclean hands. Wash the area gently with mild soap and water daily.
